As the KC & Friends method expanded and I needed to get Level Three out there I thought, “how in the world am I going to make all the rules of music fun?”
Luckily, for all of us, Tina Fey exists.
I was watching TV and saw a commercial where Tina was talking about a monkey lawyer and I thought “yes! That’s it!”
In levels 1 & 2 a real troublemaker, Monkey, had been bothering the Hands and the Friends.
Thanks to Tina, I knew that the Monkey would be able to reform his ways and help me teach the kids the rules they needed to know.
So, with a little suit shopping, the Monkey, now Monkey Lawyer, has saturated Level 3 with all of his rules and the kids have sharpened their technique and theory knowledge because of it.
